GASP!!!

Wendy Rambo Shuford

I wasn't with you when you started but have been with you during your putaways and pick up agains.CONGRATULATIONS!!It is beautiful. And to have no mistakes after all that is amazing.AND it was more frustating than the Red Riding Jacket? Both are great accomplishments.
(Me?I am just grateful to have finally untangled my lovely hand died multicoloured doubletwist yarn that has too much "pilling"on the living room floor. It took about the same amount of time as it took you to bind of the shawl)

Leah

And well worth the effort! It is, Elspeth, the most beautiful thing! And I love your photo shoot! An epic backdrop for an epic shawl!

Ya done good!!

ann

SIMPLY STUNNING!

And you make a gorgeous model! Love the photo setting - which building is that? And did you have to bribe a guard? ;o

Hmm maybe I will pick up my Fir Cone Shawl from that book.. its been steeping - uh - resting for awhile.

Oh my - that looks just lovely! What a great job on the lace!

I need to work up the gumption to start on mine again :) I made so many mistakes in the lace, and I just got so impatient with the whole thing.

Cara

A Masterpiece! I almost made this shawl once - I may have to go back to that. Beyond gorgeous. Congratulations! You just keep getting better and better!

Amanda

Wow.

Julia

It's gorgeous, Elspeth. With so much amazing knitting on the net, I rarely ever see anything that really stuns me anymore. Your shawl does - impressive!

Jasmine

it is absolutely lovely -- does this mean you can travel without your box now?

Gina

Wow! This may be the most beautiful creation from your hands thus far. Wow! Wow! Wow!

that is truly amazing. you should be so proud! the courage to not only start, but rip, tink and fix a shawl like that is something to really put that "K" in front of yourself as a Knitter.....great job.

Gale

You look so elegant in that beautiful shawl.

Steph

I am in awe. This is a stunningly beautiful shawl. And I applaud that you ripped and lifelined to make it perfect. It is yours and it is a masterpiece. Be very, very proud!

Kim

Oh, gosh, this should be submitted to the next Yarnival!

The Purloined Letter

I'm up in Takoma Park and hope to meet you some day soon!
