Three Days, Two Skeins, One Wonder
Presenting: a One (Plus One) Skein Wonder! For my dear friend Blair, on the occasion of her birthday. Made from one and a half skeins of Catalina Alpaca Silk on US 7s, from the Glampyre pattern. Changes included lengthening the sleeves to three quarter, using a provisional cast on, short rowing the back to make it more of a bolero and adding lace to the sleeves and edges. Lace taken from the Audrey Sweater from Rowan.
This was a completely fabulous knit, from the crystal clear directions to its perfect Blair fit. It took three days of fairly concentrated work, but most of the time was taken up by the sleeves and the lace, not the actual "One Skein Wonder."
